How to add a Script to your Website

These instructions explain how to add the AgentBot script your website.

Click here to see where to find your AgentBot script.

This script should then be incorporated into the HTML code in the HEAD (for each page where you want the CTA to appear), immediately before the </head> tag.

Example code:

<script type="application/javascript" src "https://cdn.agentbot.ne/core/TOKEN.js" asynce></script>

The script will create an HTML wrapper where the chat will be placed.

Then you will need to add a css class called “agentbot” to the <body>

in the HTML so that the body.agentbot rules apply. This is so you can avoid rewriting rules on each page where the application is located.

IMPORTANT: The device that you will use to visualize the page that contains the script should be connected to the internet without restrictions.

If everything works correctly, a small “call to action” widget should appear on the page (in the case where the parameter tab is equal to true). This will not affect users navigating on the page, or the usability of the website.

Example of how the Call To Action (CTA) will look:

undefined

When you click on the “call to action” widget, the chat window will open to the configured position and will be ready for users to start the chat conversation.

Finally, by clicking on the X on the right-hand corner of the box, the user can close the chat window and continue navigating the site.
