How Conditions work on WhatsApp and Facebook

If you wish to condition your content to your asynchronous channels at the beginning of the conversation, a message will be displayed with a numbered list of options as buttons. For example, if you condition by type of user, you will see the options:  

"I am a customer" 

"I'm not a customer"

Once the user responds with the desired option, all Virtual Assistant responses will follow according to the selected condition.

Important: If the user does not answer with any of the numbered options, the bot will answer again with the initial message and numbered list. Once the user enters a numbered option, the bot will answer the previously entered query.

How long does the condition last?

The condition will remain active for 24 hours. If the user interacts with the bot again before that time, the condition will remain active. After 24 hours of the last interaction, if the user talks to the bot again, the initial list of conditions will be displayed.

What happens if the channel has active GDPR?

If the channel has an active GDPR, the first question the user asks will ask him to accept the terms and conditions, otherwise he will not receive any answer from the Virtual Assistant.

Once the user accepts the terms and conditions the message will be shown with the numbered options (conditions) and you must select one to start the conversation with Virtual Assistant.
