How to create recurring campaigns

With recurring campaigns you can send automatic proactive notifications when a certain action occurs, for example if a customer is about to run out of credit on their cell phone or if they abandon a shopping cart in an e-commerce store.

The difference with respect to One time campaigns is that we do not load the audience, but rather we use a Json code that, connected to our API, detects who is responsible for sending the message.

To start a recurring campaign, follow these steps πŸ‘‡

1 - Through the MyAivo platform, click on the 'Engage' option located at the top right of the screen:

2 -  Then, fill in the credentials to access the 'Engage' platform.

3 - Next, on the screen that appears, go to the create new campaign button and select the 'recurring' option.

4-Fill in the necessary fields to create the campaign:

Campaign name. It is important to remember that campaign names cannot be repeated. The platform will not allow you to save a repeated name.

From: Number from which we will make the shipment. This will be in the list of numbers that you have active.

Template: You must select the template to use from your list of approved templates.

You can also define, in this instance, if the campaign will be enabled from the beginning or not.

5-When the selection is complete, click the 'Create' button

6-Once the campaign has been created, the JSON that must be copied into the body of our API request will be displayed.

If you haven't used the API yet, you'll need to ask your account's CSM for the URL and TOKEN to connect.

πŸ“Œ Important: You can enable or disable your campaign at any time. When you deactivate the campaign, it will not be deleted but it will remain available for when you need to activate it again. How? βž‘ Go to the campaigns screen, from the space below the JSON and in the Status column we can deactivate the campaign.
