What are triggers?

Triggers can be used to announce something you want the user to know before starting a dialogue with the bot. They are displayed as a gif or image and clicking on them opens the chat window with a predetermined question.

This action can be set up so that it is shown to the user after a certain amount of time on the page.

You can use triggers for any important customer announcements, promotions, new service or product updates, or to facilitate a common process.

To set up your own triggers, go to the Aivo platform where you will find the triggers tab under “settings” on the left-hand side menu.
