On mobile devices the chat window opens to 80% of the size of the screen, in other words, it doesn’t cover the entire web page. This allows the user to be able to see whereabouts on the website they are. This means they will be able to see the co-browsing complement (the complement that takes the user to another page). This applies to all virtual assistants and it cannot be changed.
Although, when the user is typing the window opens up to 100% to allow space for the keyboard, covering the entire screen.
Important: If your chat window has a complements window or an avatar these will not be shown on the mobile version.
Minimize and expand the chat
If you click on the minimize button or any part of the website, the chat window will be shown as a sticky button at the bottom of the page.
Important: In addition to having the button to minimize the window you will have the option to close it, even if you have an initial form.
As the customer navigates around your site the chat window will remain minimized below. To open it again all you need to do is click on the expand icon or anywhere else on the Sticky button. The window will open 80% keeping the minimize and close icons visible.
Important: If the chat window is minimized and the page reloads, the chat will stay minimized.
